Taban Swan is a swan species, that lives in the mountainous lakes of Abasi island. It is the smallest swan of the swan genus. They have proportionally smaller beaks than other swan species and black wings. It has small, red and/or black, raised feathers on it's head and black stripes that surround their eyes and continues from eyes' external edges and disappear on the side of their head. They have also black stripe, that splits their face in two. Ornitologists dispute about the number of population of Taban Swan, but the most mentioned number is 1500-3000.
